Seeking highly talented, motivated and driven individuals with a genuine passion for web application development. You will be responsible for architecting and developing high quality N-Tier web based applications using Microsoft technologies (ASP.NET, C#, SQL). The candidate should have structured and disciplined approach to all aspects of the development process starting from conceptualization to coding, testing and maintenance of the project.
Responsibilities:
-Understanding Client Requirements and functional specifications
-Designing, developing, maintaining and optimizing secure and scalable multi-tier web applications.
-Testing the website and identifying any technical problems and hitches
-Uploading the web site onto a server and registering it with different search engines.
-Determining any functionality that the site must support and developing Dot Net content based on practical approved layout
-Identifying the content type the site will host and ensuring compatibility with the Dot Net programming requirements
Desired Candidate Profile
-Minimum two years of experience in developing web applications with ASP.Net & SQL Server
-Sound knowledge of MicroSoft.Net Framework, ASP.Net 2.0 & 3.5, C#, MS SQL Server 2005/2008, ADO.NET, Visual Studio 2005, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX.
-Strong database schema & SQL query design skills.
-Should have good knowledge of creation and integration of Web Services, Net 2.0 experience and Stored Procedure experience
-Should have used at least one of the payment gateways
-Exposure to advanced concepts like WCF, WPF and Silverlight preferred.
- Any experience of Agile programming methodologies and techniques such as unit tests, continuous integration, Object Oriented design and analysis would be an added advantage.
- Any experience with SharePoint Portal Server 2003, Content Management Server and other Microsoft technologies would be a distinct advantage.
