Job Description
We are looking for a senior mobile iOs developer to lead the design, development and maintenance of iPhone apps. The developer will lead the entire app lifecycle right from concept stage until delivery and post launch support.
2+ years of Experience in developing Mobile Applications, Framework for Various Platforms. Hands on experience in using various iOS and Android components to develop scalable and efficient native apps.
Must be able to connect to external services via XML/JSON RPC or SOAP.
Strong knowledge in IOS, Xcode, Java, Objective C, Cocoa/ Cocoa Touch & iPhone SDK. Strong knowledge in Android SDK Reference links of published applications of Iphone & Android. Prior experience in core Java a huge plus.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
-Acting as lead Mobile developer.Strong OO design and programming skills in Objective-C Familiar with iOS SDK (UIKit, Cocoa Touch, Core Data, Core Location, etc) Familiar with Xcode Understanding of other compiled languages Experience on web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML)
-Prior experience in working with native device features and services such as Camera, GPS, Maps and Sensors
-Experience in entire app life cycle concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support
- Experience in requirement gathering and writing functional specifications.
-Build prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects
- Strong UI/UX knowledge. Must know latest trends and must be expert in guidelines provided by Apple and Google. Working with the front end developers to build the interface with focus on usability features
-Experience in designing UI/UX for different devices.
-Optimizing performance for the apps
General skills
-Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.
-Previous experience working with US clients is a big plus.
-Team spirit- ability to Work along with web developers to create and maintain a robust framework to support the apps
-Team spirit- ability to Work along with Management and sales team to provide estimates, effort required.
-Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies Explain technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
