We are looking for a highly qualified Senior Server Administrator/IIS Administrator with a focus on Web Server Products and specifically Microsoft's Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0 and 7.x along with having knowledge of ASP.NET, SQL Server and Cloud based environment like Amazon servers.
The qualified candidate would be engaged in providing deployment (ASP.NET, Windows based apps), support, daily maintenance, troubleshooting, automation and enhancement of web server products.
Key Responsibilities
- Enabling and troubleshooting solutions hosted on Web Technologies; web farms and associated server type configurations.
- Windows 2003 / 2008 Server/ IIS 6.0 / IIS 7.x Implementations
- Intranet and Internet web servers across both test and production domains
- Implements, and coordinates on-going product updates for IIS 6.0 and IIS 7.x including: Product installation and automated web server configuration
- Web Server Settings for both secure and non-secure web servers
- .NET application configuration
- Web Security Hotfix Enablement
- Knowledge of SQL Server, Cloud based servers like Amazon etc.,
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
