Pay scale: Rs. 10,300-34,800+Grade Pay 5000 (With initial start of Rs.18,450)
Educational Qualification: [A] (i) Graduate of a recognized university with Physics, Chemistry and Math with at least 509^ marks in aggregate and
(iJ) Degree of Bachelor of Education or its equivalent from an Institute recognized by MCTE with Science/ Mathematics as a teaching subject and at least 50% marks in aggregate.
(iii) Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the CBSE New Delhi in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE is compulsory.
OR
[B] 4 years integrated B.Sc. B Ed. or an equivalent course with Physics .Chemistry and Math with at least 50% marks in apgregate.
Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the CBSE New Delhi in accordance with the Guidelines fr-r med by the NCTE is compulsory.
AGE: The age limit for the posts of Masters/Mistresses (TGT) is 30 years. Age is to be calculated as on 01-01-2014.
AGE RELAXATION
(i) Age is relaxable up to 40 years in the case of widows, deserted women ; up to 35 years for SC, Govt, servants and Women . OBC, Ex-Servicemen or any other category will be given age relaxation as per the rules/instructions issued by Chandigarh Administration in this regard. Under OBC category, candidates of those castes will be given benefits which are included in the Central list and Union Territory, Chandigarh list.
(ii) Contract teachers, Guest teachers and SSA Teachers working in Govt, schools of Chandigarh will be given age relaxation equal to the period rounded to nearby month they worked in Govt. Schools under Chandigarh Administration.
(iii) No candidate will be accorded age relaxation and benefit of reservation unless he/she attaches the requisite certificate issued by competent authority at the time of document verification..
